Most HelpfulIf I could give zero stars, I would - and that would be for both the machine and the Sears service! I wonder how many of the reviewers still love their set. I know I ADORED mine for the first 2-3 months I had it. Thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. And then the nightmare began....
I won't buy a THING from Sears in the future. Not an appliance or a pair of socks! I've had nothing but problems with the Samsung front load washer and dryer set we got from Sears.
The set was purchased in late November 2008, but they were out of stock so I didn't even get the set until...
read full review »After doing the obligatory and necessary appliance shopping when our 15-year old Maytag died about a month ago, we settled on this Samsung model (paired with the dryer). I must admit, at first I was skeptical, "how could such little water clean all those clothes?" I asked. Well, it does. This machine is amazing! It does everything you tell it to do - with diligence. According to the manual, it uses 50 liters of water to do an entire load - rinse and all. If it needs more water, it senses it and adds more. According to the yellow tag that comes with the machine, it uses 11% of the energy required...
read full review »I bought this washer dryer combo because of the price in Nov, 2008, due to volume of sales I didn't get it until Jan 2009. Between the time I bought it and got it, my daughter and 3 month old grandson had moved in with us. I never dreamed my new appliances would get the use they have this year. When the deliver men brought it they refused to hook up the washer (long story not product related) so when my husband got home he hooked it up. I had read stories about other front load washers that had a horrible vibration and walked across the floor to the point the customer returned the product. ...
read full review »We purchased this washer on July 23, 2009 and it has turned out to be the best thing we could have done. It is easy to work, uses a lot less water than a top loader which saves on the well. The clothes come out clean and spun out so that drying time is drasticly cut. A heavy load that used to take at least an hour to dry before is done now in 15-20 minutes, which in turn saves us tremendously on propane costs to run the dryer. The vibration reduction system in the machine works wonderfully as we did not put this machine on a concrete basement floor, but on a wood framed floor. That was...
read full review »I'm a fairly new owner of this machine and was hesitant to go with any front loader due to their bad reputations for noise, mildew and poor performance, but so far, I am extremely impressed. This washer has an abundance of features: child lock, pause button, delay start, easily adjusted settings to name a few. It is very, very quiet and does not vibrate at all. Our laundry room is upstairs on a tile floor and the machine has not moved an inch.
My helpful Sears salesman recommended this machine over the LG due to the vibration reduction technology that Samsung has developed and I guess it...
