We bought this washer over a month ago. It has the Steam and Silvercare options. In my opinion you can't find a better washer for the money. Uses very little soap, water, and it gets your clothes CLEAN! (Energy Guide rated @ $18.00/year to run!!) I has the anti-vibration function and let me tell you... read full review »

After much research, I decided to purchase the Samsung WF219ANW due to its stellar reviews and ratings for performance and efficiency. On the positive side, it is very large capacity, easy to use and quiet. However, my negative experience outweighs those positives. Per the user manual, the washer requires... read full review »

We just bought the FW219 and pedestal. Within the first two days we ran about 10 loads through it, varying from normal wash to heavy dog beds, towels, etc. It seems to wash really well, and the high rpm spinning sure leaves clothes dry. We have had no appreciable vibration with heavy to extremely light loads. The digital selection of options on the front is far better than the old "grind the dial" types. (There are plenty of options, too.) But all that does not impress me; I EXPECT that from Samsung. What impresses me is the attention to detail in the minor things. New water hoses are marked Hot... read full review »

I started researching front-loaders when our water bill was raised for the umpteenth time. I read many reviews, queried many friends and researched many product sites. I finally choose this Samsung beacause it offered the silver-ion cleaning and the VRT (vibration reduction technology). I like having the option of washing all my clothes in cold water and knowing they will come out clean. And clean they are!! I feel like things that were dingy before (and I didn't realize it) come out looking like new. I even remarked that the "lint" in the dryer is clean!! It took 2 attempts to get the washer perfectly... read full review »

We just moved and bought this washer and dryer for our new house. We could not be happier. our clothes are bedding are so clean. our 3 year old spilled chocolate syrup down the front of her dress and the stain came out without a pretreatment. old stains came out of our sons little league clothes. there has been no problem with vibration, we have it on a pedestal on the second floor and no problem with smell. We researched this purchase and would recommend it to anybody.

I purchased this washer to replace an old one. The good reviews are what led me to select this product. The day it arrived, I did 8 loads of laundry back to back. The clothes were exceptionally clean, the washer vibrated for about 5 seconds before self correcting. There is virtually no noise, no vibration and the cleaning job is excellent. Uses less detergent, and less water!!! I love the chimes that play at the end of the wash cycle and the digital count down to when the load finishes. I would highly recommend this machine.

I was kind of hesitate to get a front loader washer because I thought the top loaders would clean the clothes better because of the agitator. My 2nd washing machine in 9 years broke on me after just 5 months. I figured let me try a front loader. I checked the reviews and thought hey why don't I give it a try. This one seemed to have the best reviews. I have had this washer for about 2 weeks now. It is able to hold a lot of clothes in one wash and also I am able to put plenty of towels in there without the unbalanced load I got from my old machine. Well, I can honestly say, I am one satisfied customer.... read full review »

Finally replaced my antique top loader and donated it to the Smithsonian. Went in set to purchase another brand, but when I saw the price and value, changed my mind. The machine is efficient, quick, quiet, and 1100 rpm the VRT is truly awesome! The tilted basin makes removing the clothes easier, (a small but important design feature). Loads require 10-15 min. less dry time. I'm looking forward to lower gas/water bills.

We have only had this unit for a couple of days. Previously owned Speed Queeen, GE, and ASKO. The last set was an ASKO front loading electric washer dryer. Repaired 3 times in 6 years and convinced us never to buy ASKO ever again. We did a lot of homework with Consumer reports and user ratings before purchasing the Samsung washer. The CS rating was good, but out of sync with customer reviews. Likewise, the GE model 6800 had an excellent CS rating but very poor customer reviews. Some of the disconnect is many users have only had the unit for 6 months or less. How are getting a clear picture of performance?... read full review »

If I could give zero stars, I would - and that would be for both the machine and the Sears service!  I wonder how many of the reviewers still love their set.  I know I ADORED mine for the first 2-3 months I had it.  Thought it was the best thing since sliced bread.  And then the nightmare began....

I won't buy a THING from Sears in the future.  Not an appliance or a pair of socks!  I've had nothing but problems with the Samsung front load washer and dryer set we got from Sears.

The set was purchased in late November 2008, but they were out of stock so I didn't even get the set until...

After doing the obligatory and necessary appliance shopping when our 15-year old Maytag died about a month ago, we settled on this Samsung model (paired with the dryer). I must admit, at first I was skeptical, "how could such little water clean all those clothes?" I asked. Well, it does. This machine is amazing! It does everything you tell it to do - with diligence. According to the manual, it uses 50 liters of water to do an entire load - rinse and all. If it needs more water, it senses it and adds more. According to the yellow tag that comes with the machine, it uses 11% of the energy required...

I bought this washer dryer combo because of the price in Nov, 2008, due to volume of sales I didn't get it until Jan 2009.  Between the time I bought it and got it, my daughter and 3 month old grandson had moved in with us.  I never dreamed my new appliances would get the use they have this year.  When the deliver men brought it they refused to hook up the washer (long story not product related) so when my husband got home he hooked it up.  I had read stories about other front load washers that had a horrible vibration and walked across the floor to the point the customer returned the product. ...

We purchased this washer on July 23, 2009 and it has turned out to be the best thing we could have done.  It is easy to work, uses a lot less water than a top loader which saves on the well.  The clothes come out clean and spun out so that drying time is drasticly cut.  A heavy load that used to take at least an hour to dry before is done now in 15-20 minutes, which in turn saves us tremendously on propane costs to run the dryer. The vibration reduction system in the machine works wonderfully as we did not put this machine on a concrete basement floor, but on a wood framed floor.  That was...

I'm a fairly new owner of this machine and was hesitant to go with any front loader due to their bad reputations for noise, mildew and poor performance, but so far, I am extremely impressed.  This washer has an abundance of features: child lock, pause button, delay start, easily adjusted settings to name a few.  It is very, very quiet and does not vibrate at all.  Our laundry room is upstairs on a tile floor and the machine has not moved an inch.

My helpful Sears salesman recommended this machine over the LG due to the vibration reduction technology that Samsung has developed and I guess it...
