Samsung 4.0 cu. ft. VRT Super Capacity Washer — 

Purchased from Sears 2/2008, along with matching Dryer. NO PROBLEMS WITH VIBRATION, WOBBLING, OR MILDEW!! Machine performs very well, and is incredibly quiet. All contact with Samsung's customer service has resulted in excellent response and service. First issue that has come up is water collecting in fabric softener compartment at end of cycle. Called Samsung for service today; they are coming tomorrow! Will update review afterward to advise of outcome. Having said all of that, I want to comment on what seems to be common to front-loaders in general. I am an old dog and I am not sure I am used to this new trick. I cannot believe that clothes can come clean in so little water, just by being sopping wet and thrown back and forth. You must be super-careful to use a lot less detergent, even the HE type, or the clothes will be stiff after drying from soap residue. Do clothes really get clean in so little water and detergent? I find that lint and debris is not washed off as it would be with a top load washer, and you sometimes have to pick off some lint from the clothes. The washer does spin at an incredible speed (and does not vibrate or move!), so the clothes really do come out very dry, which very much shortens drying time. Also, since most wash cycles are pre-programmed, if you want to choose very hot water or a different spin speed, the options are not programmable for every cycle, so I have less control than I did with my top load washer. This is not a huge obstacle. I like the silver care option, to kill microbes in cold water washes. Hopefully, that really works and is not just hype. Overall, I believe the washer/dryer are performing excellently, and especially since top loaders soon will not be manufactured any longer, I would certainly buy the Samsungs again.

I am having the same problem and would love to hear what the fix was for this issue, as Samsung is not covering my repair.
