The TV looks nice and is very simple to set up. I initially had concerns with the picture quality, but it was the way I connected the cable to the TV. I connected the cable to the TV through a DVD player, then through the cable box. That resulted in very poor picture quality. Once I connected the cable directly to the cable box, then to the TV, the picture quality improved significantly. I really enjoy the TV now and the low price makes it even better. read full review »This TV is great. I've had this kind for about 2 years. I got the Extended Service Plan and it has really helped. It wasn't anything wrong with the tv, it was me. I was able to talk to someone on the phone who could walk me through what I was doing wrong. They also come out and clean the tv out for me once a year! I live on a budget and I like the idea that I don't have to worry about the tv just breaking down. This was a big investment for me.
This is a great deal for a 40" 1080P LCD from a top brand!
best LCD ever
This is the best TV I have ever had, It has a great picture and the sound has to be heard to believe. The bass of the sound is not bad to come out of the TV, but mid's and the high's are great. I love the EQ, you can custom set the sound or use the pre, set EQ settings. The picture on the set would be hard to beat at any price you pay, and with 40,000 to 1 contrast you would pay a lot more to match the picture. The blacks or deep and the whites are very bright.

If your looking for a big tv with a great picture quality, this is it. The price reflects the fact that there are only one component and 2 hdmi slots. So know what you are getting into if your devices are hdmi compatible.
I bought this tv assuming the low price would equal its quality, but boy was I wrong!
The picture quality was amazing right out of the box, unlike my vizio which i had to tweek to get a decent yet pixely picture.
Now this doesn't mean you'll get the same pic quality of a higher end model, but you will definetly enjoy this tv.
This samsung doesn't have all the bells and whisltes that other higher end models have, but if youre looking for a great looking, simple tv with a reasonable price tag, this is the way to go.
This is the perfect hdtv in this price/size range. I bought online and picked it up from the Sears in-store pickup and highly reccomend that process. I was back at home enjoying the t.v. the same day. great picture. no complaints.
