This is our first flat screen and we love it! It has a great picture that is so far improved from our 35" CRT television that we'll never go back. In fact we'd love to replace our other TV with a smaller version. The sound quality is good but excellent when connected to our home theatre system. The feature set is rich, with far more options than we currently know how to use. We also got it on sale at Sears fir a great price which made it even better. Overall I'd recommend this TV to anyone.
I just moved and upgraded from a 32" Samsung I purchased 3 years ago from Sears and there is no comparison. I was very surprised on the overall clarity and color. The sound on my 32" wasn't too great but the sound on this is good for the size of my room (until I get a surround sound system in).
I would definitely recommend this TV for anyone looking to buy. Samsung is definitely the way to go.
Great TV!!! Just got it delivered today.. It is a replacement TV we chose because they couldn't fix our old one!! Thanks Sears!!!! Also, to the person who said there aren't any buttons on the TV? Read you manual and you will see that there are touch screen buttons at the bottom of your TV... All in all, so far, so good!!!! It is very good to watch Nascar races, you feel like you are there!!!!!
I purchased my television online on Friday, November 6th and Sears had it on November 12 where I picked it up hassle free. Setup was very easy. Take it out of the box, put the tv on the stand, and put some screws in and you got yourself a tv that swivels. Picture is amazing. I would recommend using the Standard feature for your picture, Dynamic is too bright and the colors are not realistic. I am a gamer, and PS3 looks great. I don't think there is any lag, but I take off the 120HZ when I play. I have only played NCAA 2010 College Football (It is only made for 720P, so I don't think...
read full review »I wanted to buy a 46" LCD TV, and have done plenty of research on them. I've had a 32" Samsung LCD for 2 years that has always worked flawlessly, and Samsung is one of the top LCD TV manufacturers.
At first, I looked into the 46B650, which has a glossy screen (giving it the additional contrast ratio), and DLNA support. I prefer a matte screen to avoid glare, and I already have an xbox360 and PS3, both of which are DLNA capable, so I decided on the 630 and I couldn't be happier!
I have this TV hooked up with an HD cable box, 5.1 surround system, PS3, and Xbox360. When watching movies or sports,...
read full review »Just picked up yesterday. Sears price beat ******* by hundreds of dollars. I went into ******** but that chain store was understaffed and looked like ************ pre-BK. Anywho, this picture is clear and the colors are vivid. Some complained about the sound but I think it is fine. I'll post again if I run into difficulties, but so far this was a nice purchase of the money.
I picked up this tv (actual 46" Model LN46B630) yesterday. My family and I are awed by the quality of the tv, ease of set up, and the superior picture. From the packaging in the box, the quality of the stand, the remote contol, the navigation on the screen, etc., etc. I must admit the manual is a bit intimidating at first but it really is easy to set up. I used an HDMI cable as recommended by the Sears salesperson and am glad I spent the money for it. The sale price of the tv was a deciding factor as well. I've looked at LCD TV's for sometime now and am no expert, but I knew what I...
read full review »I've had my TV for a few months now and it has been awesome. Set up was easy and it powered right up without any issues. the picture is stunning, especially with Blu-Ray. It's just like in the stores, when you are watching it - I am awestruck. I went with the 630 becuase it's the highest quality samsung with the semi-gloss screen. This does make a huge difference. I have a lot of light in coming into the house and while there is some reflection on the 630, it isn't distracting. The 650 or one of the LEDs surely would have been too reflective for the amount of light I have.
So far, no complaints...
Tv was listed at $1089 and saved an additional 10% by using my sears card. This is the only name brand 46 inch tv I found for under $1000. Not to mention the picture is perfect. Like most lcd tv's the sound is average so my suggestion would be to fork over a couple bucks to purchase a surround sound system to maxamize this tv's capabilities.
This LCD TV is great. Has a beautiful picture. Blacks are actually black! No backlight issues. Also is a very slim and appealing design. My living room has some seating that is at an off angle and the veiwing is just as good as sitting in front of the TV. Other reviewer says there are no buttons on TV to power off, etc... They are actually at the bottom of the TV in the little red area. They are like touch screen. I would definately recommend this TV to others and next LCD TV I get will be the same brand and hopefully same or similar model.
