A beautiful TV with a bright picture. This is a high-end TV that displays full HDTV to its fullest resolution, looks almost 3D. Unfortunately, old channels look terrible by comparison and we can now see some of the flaws in some of the computer animations in our DVD movies. This is a TV for the future, not the past.

LED is the future of tv's. If you are thinking about what to buy I would definetly go with LED over any of the current Plasma or LCD TV's. The picture quality you get from this LED tv cannot be matched by other technologies and my guess is that within 5 years all tv's will be LED. The only Con is the speakers are a little weak but if you are buying this tv you probably already have a sound system to hook it to.

We bought this TV after our rear projection went out for the second time and love it. Our children say that watching movies on this televison is a whole new experience because they see things in the movies that they missed on our old TV. The vivid colors and deep blacks make this LED LCD TV equal or better than Plasma TVs, while using a quarter of the electrcity of a Plasma. We have the 46inch for our living room and plan to buy the 55inch for our family room soon.

I just purchased this television from Sears, and it is amazing!  I have it hooked up to my Pioneer 7.1 Surround Sound, and I would rather stay at home and rent a movie than go to the theatre and deal with the sticky floors.  This tv replaced my old Magnavox 1080i 30" widescreen tube tv.  It was a major upgrade!  Went to ********, they had it for the same price, but thier warrenty was **** compared to Sears.  Buy the warrenty, This is an excellent television, standard LCD and Plasma are not even in the same category.  If your going to spend $1600+  protect it, Sears warrenty is bumper to...

Just purchased this TV Last week on Sears Family and Friends event. Its a fantastic TV and please don't get discouraged by few bad reviews. I went to the store to actually look at the TV, and my jaw dropped...I just liked the look of the picture better, which seemed more consistent with the reviews on this site and decided to go with that rather than the professional reviews. After bringing it home, it has exceeded my expectations.

The clarity on this television is amazing. The picture looks 3-D at times, which even my wife and daughter commented on as well. The colors are vibrant. It really...

Love the pic but a couple of functional issues... also bought BD1600 player (love it, too) but Samsung BDWise works well w/ remotes but must still use both remotes due to no open/close button on tv remote.  Also have not figured out how to return (default) to cable feed after ending disc play, but that may be me!  Wireless USB is not available locally...order only...spendy at $70. I don't mind the sound quality (better loud) since I use sound system when watching quality shows or movies.  VERY simple to hook up, but should have bought longer HDMI to hide cables better.

Otherwise, VERY pleased...

I bought this television to replace a 3 year old 40" Bravia.  I could tell an immediate difference in the picture quality.  Even my 10 year old son could tell a difference right away.  Everything has a smoother appearance.  The TV runs much cooler and puts out substantially less heat than the Bravia that it replaced.  Standard definition cable also looks better on this set.  Overall, I am very pleased.
