I bought this Samsung for my wife's birthday 2 months ago, and just yesterday bought another for my son. For the money this is a great camera. It is easy enough to pull out of the carton and use (since we never read manuals ; - ). I am certain we will like it more when we learn all the features it has. The only drawback is that it uses batteries up quickly. I also purchased the 1G memory module- it seems endless.
Got this for my daughter's birthday about 1 month ago and we noticed it was taking really blurry pictures BUT, it was our fault. We were about to return it when we started flipping through the manual and discovered a ring around the lens that you manually move to change from normal focus to close focus. It had been bumped to close focus (shows a flower on the screen) accidentally. Guess you have to read the instructions sometimes. This is a fine 1st camera for kid or adult but we got a 512 MB card pretty for $20 because the internal memory is not real big.
This is a great buy. I love this Camera. It does really good indoor and as well as outdoor. It is a really easy camera to use. I think if anyone buys it they will love it and get along really well with it. The only bad part of the camera is when you zoom in but, your picture will come out just fine. Your batteries don't last as long either but, one thing you can do is take your batteries out when you are not using them and they will last a lot longer. I would recommend this camera to anyone. Its a great buy.
I LIKE THIS CAMERA. IS EASY TO USE AND THE QUALITY IS VERY GOOD, SAMSUNG IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE BRAND TO BUY. MY FATHER, MY BROTHER GOT THE SAME CAMERA AND I'M GONNA BUY ONE TOO.
I bought this camera for my daughter for her birthday. Great camera for the price...caught it on sale, and very easy to use. The only issue I"ve had so far is the photo frame and composite mode. I actually bought the camera and the menu for it was there, and a bit later it disappeared. Returned it and got another one and it doesn't have it at all. Guess it's not a must have for a kids camera though. Other than that, great camera.
I just got this camera for christmas and I love it! I'm only 13 and this is my first camera. It's great. It took about 10 minutes to learn how to use and has lots of great features. However, when you zoom, the quality looks terrible through the screen, but when you actually take the picture it's fine. It's a great value, and it's small and portable. The handy features allow you to take pictures in any environment. You can adjust the amount of light or clarity and things like that. All around it's a great camera for a teenager.
okay bought this for my son and he seems to like it. Very easy to use and understand. The only issue were having is that there is no sound to the video mode, or maybe there is and we don't understand how to use it. Other than that the camera is a good buy for the price.
I am a college student, which = No $$, so that's why I chose this camera. It's a great size so it's easy to take anywhere and my pictures all turn out really well. The batteries do die pretty quickly, but i bought rechargable batteries, which were only about $10 and they work fine in it. I would also suggest buying a memory card b/c the existing memory fills uo fast.
I recently purchased a Samsung 5.0MP Digital Camera and I love it! It is extremely easy to use and has lots of cool features like the photo frames. I would recomend this camera to anyone, and if you are looking for a low cost camera with lots of features then this is for you. If you buy this camera make sure you buy a Secure Digital(SD) blank media card, then when you want to print your pictures you just take the card out and plug it into your PC. This is a very stylish camera with a sleek design and comes in 3 colors: Red, Black, and Silver.
Definatly a 5 star camera in my opinion!
This camera rocks, for many reasons. 1: small form factor, 2: good menu system. 3: good display 4: best part is the price. Give this to your parents or grandparents and they will actaully use it, why because it's an easy camera to use.
I got this camera yesterday.Its quite easy to use and good quality pictures.the bad thing is -as I read in another review- terrible display on LCD screen when zooming- even the pics come out nice. Another negative is that it does not have usb mode option for pc camera.It also only has an internal card of 24MB -so it is a good thing you get a 512MB or 1 gb secure digital card.
The zoom ability is fabulous, sometimes the battery goes dead during the cam mode. The focus and framing is wonderful especially considering the price. The small frame makes it easy to handle. I would reccommend this deal to anyone.
bought this camera as a gift for christmas. now im gonna have to pick up another for myself . the photo effects are awesome. easy to use,readable instructions. great product.
