Samsung - 50 in. (Diagonal) Class 1080p 600 Hz Plasma HD Television — 

Before buying this Plasma, I did a lot of research.  Checked out CNET.com, Sears.com, *******.com, then actually saw this Plasma at ******** and at Sears, listened to it and Googled it.  The room we have this set in is a medium lit room, not too bright and not too dark.  There is no reflection.  As far as the buzzing noise that I heard about, nothing, no buzzing at all, either in Dynamic mode or standard mode.  The picture detail is fantastic!  Samsung did a great job with this plasma HDTV.  I am using HDMI cables from my HD cable box to this set.  I am getting another competing HD cable company coming in next week and I will see if there is any difference in the picture quality, but I doubt if this picture can get any better.  There is a difference in the color between this Plasma and an LCD, and I think the color and picture detail on this Samsung Plasma is better.  The Plasma HDTVs give off some heat, but this is normal.  I would describe this heat as warm, definitely not hot.  I would definitely recommend using HDMI cables, as this will give you the best picture and sound with this Plasma HDTV.  The sound is good, and not bad with very small speakers that are on the back of this set.  I can hear the built in subwoofer kick in on deep bass sounds.  I would definitely give this Samsung Plasma HDTV a Five out Five star overall rating.
