Had this tv for almost 4 months now, I love it !!!!what a great picture, we got HD when we purchased this tv and I couldn't watch the programs for looking at the beautiful colors on this tv .I'm 65 so if I can set this tv up and get a great picture anyone can I bought it when it was on sale and got a really really good buy.I would recommend this tv to anyone .

TV is Awesome !!! Easy to hook up. Samsung over the phone gave me step by step directions for set up. Set up took me less than a half hour. Picture and sound quality is great. I love this TV! Thank You SAMSUNG.

My old Sony 35" Trinitron gave up on us a little over a year ago. We knew that we wanted to go to High Def (of course that old Sony gave up on a Sunday) anyway so we upgraded our dish and TV at the same time......We where so happy with picture and sound on this set.....The best feature of all is that I can set up the TV so the volume is the same for a program or a commercial.

The picture is the clearest I have ever seen.

After researching LCD TV's for more than six months it finally came time to purchase one. We read reviews by people who had purchased one and our choice came down to two brands-- Sony and Samsung. We went to several stores to do a side by side comparison. The picture quality on the Samsung was much better than the Sony model we were considering. We purchased our Samsung TV at Sears on sale for under $1,200 a great price considering what other stores locally and online were asking. We attached a digital/hi-def cable to the set on the second day and boy did the picture POP! Really awesome quality. We have a VCR, 2 DVD players, our surround sound system and our PC attached to it and they all work amazingly well. This was quite a find and we would recommend this model to anyone considering the purchase of a 40" LCD TV.

I bought this LCD TV specifically for gaming and i must say i'm very impressed. I went with the 120 hz model specifically because i wanted to have a higher refresh rate for gaming. I have a PS3 and an Xbox 360 and both look incredible on this TV. The only downside I would say so far is every once in a while you will notice a flicker here and there when playing an HD game. The 120hz auto motion plus doesn't seem to work as well as i had hoped. The reason i say that is because when you activate it your screen will still say 60hz on the display. You can tell it is working I just didn't understand why they wern't able to make the 120hz a standard display instead of it just being "auto motion plus." I have yet to even plug in my TV connector im so in love with the picture quality with games. I was really worried when I kept reading reviews about LCD tvs and game lag but its really nothing to concern yourself with. The menus are SO SIMPLE and the TV couldn't be any easier to set up and go. With...

Excellent40"lcdhd. Picture is awesome. Did alot of reserch on lcds and this was the best by far. The one thing I can say that would be a improvement is the sound quality if you don't have surround or a home theater set up. Other than that this is a smoking hot tv....

I love this TV. We didn't know HD TV could be that good. We had a Sony HD TV before and thought it was good but this TV blow it out of the water. The colors are very vibrant. Shows that we used to watch now look like you are right in the scene. My wife and I are amazed at the quality. My in-laws (who also have a HD TV from Walmart) couldn't believe how much better the picture was on our compared to their TV....

I purchased the LN40B650 on 4/10/2009. Hook up was a cinch(5 minutes). I did not have any HD channels so the picture was good but not great. On 4/13 I had the HD channels added to my cable and the picture is awesome. The technology on this set NEEDS HD channels, otherwise you are wasting $1700. The USB/Flash has the owners manual and it is easy to use. The remote works well, there are all sorts of gadgets that you can access. The remote allows you to easily turn off the 120Hz when you are not using it( I only use it during certain fast moving sporting events and fast paced action movies.) I was happy to see the touch of red has been toned down in this 2009 model, it looks great. Bottom line: I love this set. MAKE SURE YOU GET HD CHANNELS....
