Sansui - 27 in. (Diagonal) Class 480p CRT SD Television —

My mid-80's 25" Zenith console finally gave out and I wanted an interim TV until the LCD/LED/Plasma/720/1080/i/p format becomes a bit more standard. This $230 unit fills the need, and does a fairly good job. I do miss the auto color adjust of my old Zenith as this unit does not automatically adjust pix color or sound level between channels. Red colors seem to be almost fluorescent, and attempts to soften them have not been successful. Full screen pictures suffer a definite linearity problem, resulting in elongated faces, exaggerated hights, etc. But overall, the set is well worth the $230 cost.
