We needed a corner unit, cherry toned, which would hold our heavy (140 lbs.) television and this Sauder product covered and exceeded all avenues. The only negative for us would be the brass looking hardware since it is not our taste. We changed out the door handles and painted the hinges to match and it looks perfect!
We are very satisfied with this piece. Size is not overwhelming and just what we needed. Looks like a more expensive piece of furniture, good value for the price. Well packaged. Very good assembly instructions.
I would definitely recommend this product. It was very easy to assemble. The style and color looked great with the other furniture in the room.
Very happy with this unit. I previously ordered a similar item (different vendor/website) and the panels were mostly damaged and the hardware broke when tyring to assemble. I also paid almost $200 for it as well.
The assembly time was very fast and easy. All of the parts lined up correctly and the finish looks very good. For the price, the quality is very good. I felt better ordering from Sears since I would have the option to return to the store if the product was defective.
This unit is exactly what you expect from Sauder. I have purchased many similar items. All perform well, assemble easily and look great. I had one small problem with one of the drawer pull castings but was easily remedied.
We love our TV stand - it comes highly recommended.
The componants are very sturdy. The instructions are very detailed and easy to follow. They do not leave out a single detail and give lots of tips/warnings on what can go wrong, how to avoid common assembly mistakes, and how to assemble things correctly. The finish is beautiful and matches our other espresso-colored furniture.
All of the pre-drilled screw and nails holes matched up and there were no missing or damaged parts. We had NO issues with flaking, splitting ot cracking. Very impressed.
I looked at hundreds of reviews on other sites before I bought this. It's okay, but the back is open and not finished. I realize it's supposed to go in a corner, but they cheaped out on this one
