I just purchased this bike and was quite impressed with the quality of the equipment and the packaging of the pieces to assemble - even down to the way they packaged the screws, washers etc. They come sealed on a cardboard with the pieces needed for each step grouped together. It took about an hour and a half to get the bike together. Some of the parts are quite heavy and it helped to have a second pair of hands to help hold the pieces together while being attached. This bike feels solid - some of the other bikes I tried made me feel like I was going to fall off of it - or it was going to come apart. Not this one! It doesn't wobble at all when you are pedaling. The seat is very comfortable and easy to adjust. The bike is very quiet so far - hopefully it will stay that way the more it is used. I am very satisfied with the purchase and feel that the Schwinn brand is one that is of great quality. I have knee problems and have had one knee surgery. I love to walk but, the pressure on the knee from full body weight was causing me problems. So far, the bike has been great. I can exercise and feel like I am getting a workout without all the body weight being placed on my knees. I haven't had any joint pain from this form of exercising like I did with walking. I also like the fact that I can watch tv or read while I am exercising. This bike has just enough bells and whistles - some equipment can become overwhelming with all the different programs. I just can't say enough good things about this bike. I really think that you will be pleased with the purchase. The true test for me will come 6mos - year down the road. If the quality of the bike holds up - and the noise is minimal - it will be perfect!
