I had researched the recumbent bikes and talked to others. This is the one that offered everything I was looking for and was a fair price. I bought the bike when it was on sale for $349 and the next week it was $329. Sears did give me the price adjustment. I got the bike home and had immediate help with 2 boys (ages 3 and 6). Even with the "help" they offered, I was able to put this bike together in a little over an hour and a half. I have to give it a very good rating for the ease of putting it together. I had no troubles, and the nuts, bolts, and washers are packaged according to each step. They even provide all the tools, so you never have to go looking for your tool set. It was nice to have an extra set of hands, albeit small hands, to assist in holding a couple of pieces together while I put the screws in. I cannot believe how quiet it is -- I don't even have to turn the volume up on the TV. This is a very nice piece of exercise equipment and very simple to operate. Now I look forward to exercising!
Schwinn 202 Recumbent Exercise Bike is recommended by momof3inND
Quality and performance at a great value. The Schwinn® 202 recumbent bike is backed by over 100 years of cycling heritage, quality and performance and is exclusive to Sears. The Schwinn® 202 recumbent bike comes with a heavy 9kg flywheel, normally found on higher end bikes, which gives a feel more like an outdoor cycle. Another comfort consideration is the convenient side location of the grip heart rate rather than near the console. This allows you to maintain better positioning while using.
