The swivel wheel allows me to use it as a walking stroller and a jogging stroller. Just make sure that when you jog with this stroller you lock the front wheel or it will shake quite a bit. My 10 month old son absolutely loves this stroller. The rear shocks make for a really smooth ride. He falls asleep every time we take it out. The stroller is 35 lbs, but you really don't feel it, especially when jogging. I also have a MetroLite stroller, which I absolutely love for shopping, but when it comes to the outdoors I will never go anywhere without my Schwinn Freewheeler again.
