Excellent for short trips to the market, general exercise, and just fun riding.
Stability of the trike makes accidental fall over a lot less probable.
The frame is well constructed but still light weight, seat height is quick adjust without sockets or wrenches.
The light weight basket will hold several bags of groceries for the short haul between store and home.
I love my new Trike. It's easy to ride. My back doesn't hurt because I don't have to lean over like you do on 2 wheel bikes. I don't have to worry about falling off. Fun to ride. Well made and sturdy.
I love this bike, you can cruise and look around without worrying about your balance. Everyone say's "cool bike" and wants to where I got it. I keep a rope in my basket and last week, I saved a dogs life, he was running toward the street and would not listen to his master. I pretended I had some food and he came running right to me. I tied the rope around his collar and he pulled me home to his house. I saved a life on my Meridian! It holds four grocery bags at once. I have stopped driving to the store!

After 5 MAJOR back surgeries, I can say for certain, this is a GREAT Trike. Thanks Sears/Kmart~ I Have knee problems too-Most amazed about the Ease & COMFORT of this Trike! GREAT VALUE TOO. Bought it at the end of the riding season, Nov.2007 & can't wait til Spring!

Thank You so much for coming out with a bike affordable enough for the common folks out there, "us" that can not afford the ones that cost $1000's or more that have the stability for our lower backs' in which we need. I have had four back surgeries myself, and love to ride a bike, but have found that a traditional bike is very hard on the lower extremeties for me. I also have two artificial knees, and a new hip, so with this bike design, I too can enjoy the outdoors again. I can also afford this model, plus it has the unique design of a motorcycle design of my trike, which is stablizing...
