Question:

I have a little girl who is 51/2 and she wants a razor scooter.  Most of the razor scooters age is 12 and up. I have read comments on this one from different web sits and parants are getting this for age group between 51/2 and up. How balance is this scooter.

The scooters are sold in a range of sizes.

The store has displays of them.

I even saw a Dora the Explorer version of a scouter at the store.

The scouters are in the sports equipment section, bulk-stacked in one of the main isles - by the sports section, and there are even some over to the Tool Department's toy section.

Have a look.

There's bound to be something there, she'll love...

The pink Sweat Pea scooter is has a rechargable electric motor.  Although a 5 year old could likely balance on the item, the manufacturer recommends age 12.  Not because of the balance or size, but because of the danger and liability.  This is a powered vehicle and could be dangerous if not used properly.  It goes pretty fast.  As Adam indicated, there are a variety of scooters and bikes available at Sears.  Some electric and some traditional.  Happy shopping, merry Christmas
