I purchased this mattress set when it was on sale at 50% off and would purchase it again at full price. In fact, I plan to purchase another after the holidays. It is very comparable to much more expensive sets/brands. As other reviewers have stated:

This mattress is of fair build and quality. The most significant noticeable detail is the edge construction of the mattress is poor. I bought this Sealy Union Plush Pillow Top mattress on a "half price deal" (which based on research seems to be Sears "typical price")- its a little too soft and squeaky (before this I had a Simmons Beauty Rest which was AMAZING but a lot more expensive); I have had the mattress three weeks, and so far its held its shape, but wish I had read the other readers experiences as consistently, within a few months, many are complaining of the mattress losing shape - will report back in a few months
I have had to move around a lot in order to find a place I was happy with and often was not able to afford top of the line bedding or to move the bedding if need be. I purchased this to economize and was very pleased with the result. I purchased it on sale and it was shipped to be ready on my moving in. It is very comfortable, supports me well, I am 6'1" and 230lbs and seems well made. I'd purchase it again, but hopefully not for a while.
I've slept on this pillowtop mattress for the past two months and it's great - especially for the price. No complaints at all.
The mattress is nothing special. We purchased it for a guest room and it does the job as a guest bed, that gets used a few times a year. The bed is ok (ave) construction, it does make a little squeaking noise from the springs. It sleeps fine, It's not a firm mattress and does have nice give and support to it. We have had no complaints and have tested it ourselves. It is certainly the same quality as other beds in it's price range. It makes a good occasional use bed.
Save your money on this one. It's a no turn mattress and the inner springs might support 90 pounds ringing wet, but for the average senior like myself, you sink to the bottom like you're in a hammock. Shop around for better support, because this mattress isn't even up to Sealy quality and I've bought Sealy all my life.
I bought this as my first bed, that wasn't a hand me down. My back pain is gone, my restless sleeping is no more. It may have some flaws, but for me, this is a great buy, great value!!
My boyfriend and I ordered this mattress, it is our first new mattress we have ever purchased. Being in college, we didn't have a big budget to work with, but wanted a pillow top. We both love it! Its way more comfortable than we ever expected it to be. It has done wonders for my back issues as well. I highly recommend this product, its fantastic. We have not had it for a long period of time, so as far as its durability, I cannot say. So far I am extremely pleased.
I recently bought this mattress to replace my old Sealy mattress, and the results were:
- Back pains are gone.
- Not tossing and turning anymore.
- Comfortable pillow-top to lie down on.
- Saved a lot of money because of this mattress' affordability.
During my search for a new mattress I stumbled upon this set . . . what a difference it has made. As a person who suffers from lower back pain this mattress has made my pain disappear in two weeks. It is soft and extremely comfortable. I can't wait to get in bed at night after a long day at work!
I love my new Sealy mattress. It's really comfortable. I sleep like a baby. This is the ideal bed for someone who has a stressful career and wants to go home and lie on something comfortable. Also, it's a good steal. I've checked many places for mattresses, and I found this one to be the best deal.

We bought this mattress after reading the reviews. The delivery by sears was great. However, the mattress is just awful.
It was good for the 1st month, and then after that began to sag on my side. It is nearly an inch smaller on my side of the bed. Being bed-ridden for 3 months didn't help matters.
You can't flip it to the other side as it is a no-flip. It is not a very firm mattress to start out with, so I just wanted to warn others so they don't jump on this deal just because it's on sale. Recommend that you at least test it out at the store.
We learned an expensive lesson.
this is a genuinely good mattress. my husband and i have been grappling with back issues for over 4 years now because of which every year we had to throw away our year-old mattress. however, this mattress has proven a good product and way superior to others i bought in the same price range. just 2 weeks of use and we are sleeping like a baby. goes excellently with my ikea bed too!
