Sears Attic Fan —

As I visited the discussion boards this morning, I remembered I had to give Sears kudos on their attic fans. We purchased ours about 15-17 years ago and just like timex watches it just keeps on atickin'. Of course we have had yearly maintenance on it like a car, but have never had to buy parts or replace anything yet (knock on wood). It is a tremendouse energy saver as we do not need to turn on the air unless it gets to 80-85 degrees. We simply turn on the attic fan, open a couple of windows on the shaded side of the house and realize it is quite comfortable with the attic fan drawing the air through the house. I highly recommend those that want to save money to look into an attic fan for their home.
