I grew up visiting the Sears department store on Lawrence Avenue in Chicago, and now it seems smaller and more cramped inside than what I remember growing up. Since the store resides in such an old building, that's understandable. At least the one-block distance between the store and the parking lot (where the Auto Center appears to be located) seems shorter as well. It was very good interacting with the employees in the Tools department (both here and at the Irving Park & Cicero location), who proved to be knowledgeable and quite helpful with my shopping needs.Last edited on Oct 07, 2008
