Sears - Credit Card — 

Sears Credit Card.  Unbelievably poor customer service.  Sears will not honor their 12 months deferred interest no payments promotion on large appliances.  Customer service reps always put you on hold for 30 minutes no matter what time you call, then transfer you to another rep without saying anything, then kick you back to automated call system.  Answer all of their online inquiries saying " you must call us".  Good idea, I want to be put on hold for 30 minutes.  I think they are non-responsive to dispute resolution because it allows Sears Card to charge $39.00 late fees and 29.99% default interest rates.  You cannot resolve anything if you cannot get a response.  Never, never use Sears Credit Card to purchase anything at Sears.

i also am not a fan of the sears credit card. And although i know they are just doing thier job i get so tired of being asked if i would like to apply for a sears card ...heck no they cost to much. make it sound so good that i'll save an extra 15 % on todays purchase. but than if one min tues late with payment the item cost me an xtra 29.9 %.

I also have experienced the worst service from Sears customer service ever. They falsely reported a disputed claim, that was ultimately resolved in my favor, as a delinquency to the credit bureaus. This has unfairly damaged my credit rating and they have done nothing to correct it. I now have to get a lawyer and pursue legal action - an absolute disgrace. As far as I am concerned, their conduct borders on criminal.

I completely agree. I am having the same issues with them. They have added $87 in interest on my statement balance because I failed to pay it. I never got the chance to pay it because they sent the statement to an address I haven't lived at for 2 1/2 years. They have delivered 3 appliances to my new address including this purchase and I have asked them to confirm my new mailing address on each purchase. Love the store will never ever use the card again.
