“Good for a quick trip but do not expect much.”
True story. The other day I had to return a heavier item to the Sears Hardware right up the street, two employees were outside smoking a ciggerette, which to me was no big deal. Everyone has thier vices and some times you need a break. I was returning the item as I found a better one over the internet, I am a die-hard fan of Craftsman and Sears. The majority of my tools/equipment are Craftsman and came from Sears. I struggled to unload the item and they just stared at me, I know they saw me because I parked directly in front of them. It was like I did not even exist. I have come to tolerate this type of customer service from this store. I only stop there if I need something quick like a warranty exchange or oil. From my knowledge management keeps changing. I had a problem with this store last season over a tool exchange. They do not stock anything, especially sale items. If I need to look around and do some major shopping I will drive the extra twenty minutes to the original Sears in our community. I have also just found out that there is another Sears Hardware about ten minutes in the complete oppisite direction, I definetely will be checking that one out and hopefully be going there instead.
