I recently went to Sears Portrait Studio in Lima, OH. I had a terrible experience between the 45 minute wait past our appointment time and the only girl working not knowing what she was doing, I thought I was going to blow a gasket. She only took maybe 30 pictures. I wanted a nice family picture and a picture of my husband and I, and then pictures of my 2 children. She took maybe 4 family pictures and 2 of my husband and I together b/c she had no clue what to do? I had to keep suggesting backgrounds and poses? I thought that is what they were trained to do? Then to top it off it was close to closing time and she made it so obvious she was trying to hurry through it. She even made the comment a couple times about having to hurry b/c they get mad at her b/c she is always behind??? So obviously this studio has poor management skills or they would adjust the schedule... So after all that I pick out the 6 best pictures we had to work with and spent the $130 for the cheapest package deal they have and go on my way. Well 2 weeks later I go in to pick up my pictures in the afternoon and there is still only 1 person working. So
i go up and stand at the counter and the lady comes out and says I will be with you in a second and takes people back in the room and starts doing pictures? Didn't even ask me what I needed.. Maybe I just had a question? Maybe I just wanted to schedule and appointment? But all I wanted to do was pick up my pictures.. So I stood there and 20 minutes later she finally came out to ask me what I needed. By time I was a little upset and said something about waiting out there and she LAUGHED at me? Is that what they teach you in customer service class? So I got mad and asked for the manger and she said she was the manager. So I got my pictures and went to general manager over the whole store and he told me she lied and she was not the manager. He then told me he was sorry but there was nothing he could do because Sears don't own Sears Portrait Studio?? So After all of this I will never shop, walk through, recommend, or even walk in to use the bathroom at this Sears store again... Oh and good luck making an appointment at this store because they don't answer their phone, I had to get on-line to schedule and appointment in the first place?
