I have had Sears Repair to my home six times now. The first three visits the repair persons were too lazy to actually look inside the washing machine to diagnose the problem. When they finally did figure out what the leaking was caused from, they repeated scheduled appointments to come back and never showed. I sat home for DAYS and waited from Sears Repair which blew me off and scheduled another day without notifying me. When I called "Customer Solutions": they were were impotent to do anything but request a repair visit. Totally incompetent company.

I purchased a refrigerator 3 years ago. About 3 1/2 months ago it stopped cooling, and the ice maker stopped working. I called to make a repair appointment. It took 4 attempts before a service tech finally was able to come fix the problem. It has been 2 months since the fix and the unit is once again not working.

In the first schedule appointment, the technichian called at 6:30 pm, 2 1/2 hours after the allotted time window, to say he was on his way and would be at my house in an hour; unfortunately, that didn't work for my schedule. The second time, the technician called to say he was running...

I am totally fed up with Sears customer service. Their first tech showed up as promised within the window - he was great, but he couldn't repair my DW without a specific part, which needed to be ordered We paid $300 (labor + part) in exchange for the promise that he would return the following Sat morning at the same time. No confirmation call, no rep, when I called to find out where he was was told the appointment was actually scheduled for the following Monday. (Despite the fact that my account clearly indicated that I need Saturday appointments, which every rep I've spoken to acknowledges!)...

This loyal Sears customer will now shop elsewhere - the latest in Sears great products and service: Bought my Kenmore dishwasher December 29, 2009. Fourteeen months later the detergent dispenser quit working (did not open during wash cycle). My entire experience thus far with Sear Home Repair has been awful. One mis-communication after another; incredibly long hold times; customer service technicians that are mostly nice, but I have great difficulty understanding them (and I think vice-versa), provides only 4 hour appointment time periods (8 to 12 or 1 to 5) - who in this day and age still...

I had an appointment from 10-2 today for my washer and 2:00 came and I never heard anything- then the phone rings I answer they hang up. I call the number back and I get the main switchboard who said they were most likely calling because they were on the way, but she would have a dispatcher call me back. Well an hour goes by and still nothing so I call the number again and they guy tells me that my appointment has been canceled and will need to be rescheduled because they wee overbooked. I said no one called me and he said no Mam they called you at 2:05 and you hung up on them, I said no I didn't...

We had a Kenmore garbage disposal that started leaking at the base during the final few months of a 5-year warranty. Luckily, I still had the receipt so I called the national Sears customer service number, gave them all the info and they scheduled an appointment for service. The service technician arrived at the designated time holding a brand new garbage disposal, which he installed in about 15-minutes -no questions asked! He was very courteous and pleasant to deal with. Overall, I was quite surprised how painless the whole process was from start to finish and I will continue to purchase Kenmore...

Repair for kenmore refrigerator.

Dishonest: Employee on chat wrote (yes, I have it in writing) he set up the repair appointment for the following day (Sat) but set it up for Tuesday!

Overpriced: Diagnostic visit was quoted at $70 when local companies charge $45.

Unaccountable: Called the home services number to correct the schedule problem. Regardless of how often they said they were sorry, when I requested they send a technician out as promised, they said it was not possible. When I asked for a supervisor and asked not to be "accidentally" disconnected, they placed me on hold for 30min and then...

I waited for 4 hours for a repair person today. Whwn no one showed up, I called the repair number for an update only to find out my repair call had been cancelled.  I can understand if repairs are taking a long time and they're running late. But what I can't understand is an inability to update you on the status of your repair call.

The first phone  rep I spoke to was apologetic and pleasant, he tried to find out what was happening. But I was suddenly connected to someone else, who initially apologized - I told her that I realized it wasn't her fault, but that I was very upset.

My Kenmore washing machine has been malfunctioning, so I arranged to have a Sears repair person come this morning to fix it. I scheduled by calling 888-246-375. I was told that a repair person would arrive between 8 AM and 12 PM, and I arranged to be off from work in order to be home for the repair. 

At 12 PM no one had come, so I called the above number and was told that the repair person had “just arrived” at his previous stop and that he would be sent a text message to call me and let me know approximately when he would arrive at my home.

The service department has been horrible!  We've scheduled 2 appts with them and both times they have been a no show - with no explaination.  I've had to miss work for 2 days  (since they only give appts in 5 hour windows) and I was just told by one person they can't send someone out for another 10 days and by another person that someone will be showing up at 8pm this evening.   Hello - we live in Washington DC -  not Alaska!  We're never shopping sears again!

The Sears installed plumbing to my water softener sprung a leak in my basement. It was significant enough to cause me to shut of the water to my home. I quickly called the Sears Water line prominently displayed on the water softener lid. I explained to Karen the call center operator that the copper pipe above the softener was leaking. She instructed me to shut off the water and I confirmed I had done that. Poor repair service.

I called Sears Repair Service on Saturday November 28, 2009, I had a scheduled appointment for Tuesday December 1, 2009 between 1pm and 5pm.  At 5:45 pm I called customer service to see what was happening with my appointment.  I was assured that the technitian was on his way and would be calling me shortly.  At 6:40 I called again and was assured that the technitian was on his way and they would request that I be called with a time of arrival.  At a few minutes before 8pm I called again.  The technitian had gone home and I had never received a phone call.  I was informed that I could not...
