Sears - Sears or Discover —
Many people are suffering at this time due to the mortgage crisis, job losses, home and investment devaluation. Sears could win over a lot of public support by allowing those who received gift cards and those with store cards from returned items, to use these cards to help bring current or pay down thier Sears and Discover card debt.
This move would benefit the Sears corporation not only though a limited time good will gesture, also money would flow from the frozen escrow accounts into your operating funds.
