Sears - Yuma, AZ —
For me and my family, the biggest draw to our local Sears is the photo studio when I get my kids pictures taken every year on their birthdays. For some of the other departments, I've found it very hard sometimes to find a representative for assistance, especially in appliances, or some parts of the store feel very "dated" and not in a good way. It can also be very hard to get through the store because theres no real sence of flow with the way the isles are set up. Bt the biggest factor is the prices...I've always found the shoes to be very overpriced, while the clothes and tools very depending on what I'm looking for. Sometimes I can find a deal, and it's a great deal, but for everyday prices, it can be hit or miss. I would love to take advantage of some of the sales and promotions that involve using my Sears card, but the drawback there is the APR is so high, I lose the initial savings in paying the interest on the card. I think Sears is a good place to shop overall and I've always found it to be a relatively high class store with a high quality mechandise, I just hope it doesn't get beyond what average, working class customers can afford.
