Sears.com —
I have had no issues with Sears.com. I did have a difficult time loading mattress section one time , but that was most likely our lovely Dial-Up connection and not the web site. My only issue with Sears is with the repair service. The service is excellent and the technicians appear to be very knowledgeable, but the scheduling process is very poor. You are not given any more idea of when they will be at your home other than "between the hours of 8 and 5", which means taking off a full day of work and being under "house arrest" while you wait. This is because if you miss the phone call that they make right before they come, you get put down as a reschedule. This might work for some people, but I find that it is impossible to be right at my desk at work all day, and even though there are office assistants they might not always be at their desks or they might be on another call, therefore the call from Sears will go to voice mail. At home, I can not even go get the mail as I have to go beyond the signal field for my cordless phone. A cell phone might work, but mine is attached to my vehicle (OnStar system), and as far as having one at work my work site has a No Tolerance Policy against cell phones. I have voiced this opinion to Sears directly, and am hoping one day they will come up with a more user-friendly method.
