“Do not shop online at Sears!”
Does Sears know it is 2008? Their online system won't accept my home address as a valid location for delivery. Okay, so I call for help to complete my order. I'm told they can't help me because they don't accept major credit cards for payment over the phone. When I ask why they say they are concered about fraud issues with major credit cards. Hmmm. Seems you can only use a Sears card over the phone. I guess they are fraud-proof. How convenient for them. So I end up ordering online with my Mastercard and setting up delivery to a third party location. The delivery date comes and goes and no product. I call. First time, I'm put on hold forever. Second time, I'm hung up on during transfer. Third time I'm told that they can't help me without an order number. (This particular man is indignant beyond belief.) Fourth call of the day I'm finally told we have been rescheduled for 3 days from now. And I've paid these people $65 for this abuse. I'd cancel the whole thing if I thought for a second I could get my $1300 back. $1300 they've already charged my fraudulent credit card! NOT remotely a pleasant experience!!!
