Locked98 Ford Ranger Alignment ??s

posted on December 28, 2009 at 08:30AM Inappropriate?

I need to get an alignment on a 98 Ford Ranger, 2wd splash style (i think it's a 2.5L). A WalMart mechanic told me that this model has a replacement bolt that needs to be added on the first alignment. This may or may not be the first alignment this truck has ever had. My question is, does anyone know if i should expect a huge bill for this alignment, or will it be only sligtly more than or equal to the $69.99 price listed on the Sears site?

Thanks

Perhaps an easier way to phrase this question would be:

I need an alignment on a '98 Ford Ranger. I have heard that this model requires some extra parts and labor when getting aligned for the first time due to a non-adjustable factory part (some sort of adjustable bolt). Is this true? What should I expect to pay for this alignment?

Thanks again,

These bolts needed for your alignment will coust you about 120.00 parts and labor plus the alignment
