My last Sharp microwave lasted 7 years. This one lasted 1.25. Of course, it stopped working right after the warranty was up. One morning, it just stopped heating anything. No big explosion or any warning, it just doesn't work. It costs $40 just to have someone look at it with no guarantee of repair....

We are happy with the look and design of this microwave. It is easy to clean, easy to use, and looks great in our kitchen.
Perfect size and very modern looking. Very easy to operate and cooks evenly and quickly. Warning: It is very heavy to lift/carry

Love it, got it for x-ms last year works great
We use this in our Camper for road trips, it works great! All you need to clean it is mild soap and warm water. It's not too big but is still sleek and stylish. Burritos or those frozen dinners for on the go evenings would never work without this oven.
A New Start
We just moved in to our new apartment 3 weeks ago. We couldn't buy everything we need all at thesame time so we need to concentrate first at the basics like kitchen stuff. We shopped around and found couple of microwaves at different stores but it's not what we were looking for. Finally found one at Sears. It's a Sharp Carousel 1cft. 1100w microwave oven that falls on our checklist which are 1.reasonable prize (coz we're tight on our budget) 2.stainless steel(it matches the other stuff in the kitchen) 3.powerful(for cooking rice,etc) 4.easy to use(coz we have a 9year old daughter)....

Overall I am very pleased with the microwave. It heats great and the functions are wonderful and easy to use. I did however think that the door could have been a little more sturdy, it seems very lite and loud when you shut it.
we do not have alot of space for a large microwave, this one fits great.
