LockedHave you gotten your winter boots yet?

I just bought a pair of Kamik's for myself and my husband.  I've heard they are really good boots.

Do you have a favorite pair or brand?

I have been buying my boys Land's End boots for years.  They wear them, literally, everyday during the winter, and these are the best for keeping their feet dry, and put up with the wear and tear of everyday use.  Along with the fact that when my oldest boy grows out of them, I pass them down to my youngest, and they stil hold up.

This is the pair I bought last year for my eldest.  His foot hasn't grown too much, so I hope to get another year out of them:

It usually doesn't snow in FL so winter boots aren't really in here lol.

However I am looking for an inexpensive pair of low heel dress boots to replace a pair of fake leather boots that ripped (but they were oh so comfy).

I think you should try the Apostrophe Curlie or the Covington Liddy. These are both low heel dress boots and at a great price. They come in a variety of colors too! Just in case you need a black and brown pair.

Check them out at Sears.com

I wasn't bowled over by the Curlie I was looking for a pair with more of a block type heel (more stable) and square toe (I have partial arthritis in my feet), The Liddy might work I also saw a Canyon River Blues Chunky, and Mia Amore-McBeavy, that I liked as well :)

I saw the cobbie cuddlers today and fell in love with them. But my standby is the Craftsman or shoes for crews.  When I wore leg braces I would chang einto boots for a short time. and back into the braces. Now I am wearing boots all the time, and want to change into something less supporting for a short time, and so on.something cute but no heels.

I just bought a pair of the Bearpaw cable knit boots...the best way to describe these is COZY.  Nothing says winter boot more than suede, sherling, and a cable knit sweater all in one shoe!

All in one shoe?!? Is this on Sears.com or Kmart? Sounds exciting!

Houdiniphile - here is a link to all the BearPaw boots.  Melinda is referencing the Cable Knit ones with the cute buttons on the side!

Thanks Rebecca!  These boots are really warm...I know several people who commute in the harsh Chicago weather and these are their shoe of choice to bear the wind and snow (no pun intended).
