LockedShoes as a Gift?

How do you feel about the gift of shoes this holiday season?  Is this what you want to find stuffed in your stocking this year or do you feel like most of your holiday shoe purchases are personal?

Oooooh...I wouldn't, myself. Buying shoes is a matter of fit, form, and function. While the last two can be figured out without the recipient there, the first is critical, and that's something only the recipient can figure out. Shoes given as gifts usually end up getting exchanged. It's almost like buying a bra for a wife or girlfriend. Odds of it being kept and worn? Not very good.

I bought a pair for my husband...actually come to think of it, the last two years I've gotten him shoes for Christmas.  I might even buy a pair for my 4 year old nephew if I can find the perfect pair!

Houdiniphile LUVS crafstman boots size mens 7 or 6.5 if they are big.

Houdiniphile wears 9 or 8.5 in women's. Houdiniphile will review 100 different pairs of shoes in 2010 if Santa brings one pair.

Shoes for a close family member that needs fashion help is good. But for the fashion conscious it would probably be returned.

You are absolutely right, and I think the closer you are to the person, the more likely you will get a good fit with the shoe.

houdiniphile is hoping her friends see this. Don't forget Coleman has hiking boots for the active person for under $30! Houdiniphile wears size 7 in men's 9 in women's.

Looks like shoes as a gift are definitely appreciated by all shoe lovers.  Especially when they have a very specific pair in mind.  You could always do what I do...wrap them and put them under the tree for yourself ;)

I Know The Christmas Holiday Is Over But...  Valentines Day is This Weekend... I Love Shoes Sooo.  I Love For Other People (MY Husband Or Sister) To Buy Shoes For Me Because I Always Buy The Same Thing.  All My Shoes Look a Like and Hurt The Same.  :-) So When Ever My Husband Buy Shoes For Me I Love It.  It Gives Me That Oppurtunity To Get Out Of That Box.

Your husand might like a new pair of slippers for Valentine's Day - or perhaps you need a new pair.  Check out our most recent blog:
