Lockedshopping in high heels

I don't know why, but I seem to ALWAYS be wearing the wrong shoes when I go shopping. It's just bad luck, I guess. Because I can assure you that I don't desire to be miserable the entire time I am shopping. I guess I do my shopping right after work--and ALWAYS--forget to put comfortable shoes in my car. I don't know if it's so much as I "forgot" or more of "i didn't really plan to go shopping." Either way, I am always out of luck the entire time. Wouldn't it be so cool if there was a flip flop vending machine in each mall that says, "Be comforable. Shop ALOT. Flip Flops sold here for $1.00" ahahahaha that would be so awesome. Of course, I wouldn't spend over a buck because i have a million pairs of flip flops in my closet. I bet you are all thinking that is a crazy idea, but i think i am being absolutely serious. What do you think?

That's a good idea - I know I've paid more than $1 for a pair of flip flops in dire shoe situations!

I've gotten in the habit of bringing a pair of sneakers with me when I go walking on my lunch break. I don't wear high heels (they just hurt) I do wear flats though but they ain't made for walking.

I have seen ballet flats that roll into a little bag for your purse - commuter shoes I think they called them. Cute too! Seems like a good "cash register" placement purchase to me!

How about keeping a pair in the car for just such "emergencies"?  If you have "a million pairs" in your closet, by all means transfer one to the trunk of your car.

By the way, how do you end up going shopping when you don't plan on it?  But I guess that's a typical guy question :)

The highest heels I've ever been in are my trusty Cowboy boots.

After a few hours in them, my legs sure "edumacate" me on wearing them kind of footwear.
