We have a Jenn-Aire down vent gas cooktop. Is there a requirement for the cooktop to be vented? If I replace, do I need to get a vented one, or can I use a nonvented one without installing a vent system for my island.

They have a new ductless install kit for the new product line. I don't know how well it works, but a sales rep can probably tell you.

I have this question, too. How would I replace a downdraft Jenn-air with an Electrolux hybrid without having to go through my ceiling to install a fan? Would the 10" rise downdraft vent be an option? E30DD75ES S 58263
