Shrek is one of those kid friendly movies that our grandkids migrate to on sleep overs and never tire of its story, color, and humor.
I wonder what Walt Disney would have thought of this movie from time to time because it is made very much in the format of Sleeping Beauty or Snow White and others he made famous for past generations. Language is clean and the story is fresh. We learn during this movie that people who don't look like us can be looked up to and even become strong friends. We learn patience for others who talk constantly or come on too strong around us. We go on an adventure together...

Shrek. The First movie and the first chaper where the ogre story had began. I like the first story wher Shrek first met Donkey and Fiona. I first watched Shrek when it was released on VHS and it was great. The second one is where Shrek and Donkey had met Puss n' Boots and it have been getting interesting which it led up to Shrek the Third.
And the final chapter, Shrek Forever After is a finale to this movie where Shrek had signed the contract to be a real ogre for the day but have been jipped and the time had changed.
Shrek is not just funny, it's laugh-out-loud and very witty, and with a good message of acceptance.
One huge thing i think we can learn from this movie is that you should judge other people. This brings an important message to many children. A lot of people are know getting sent to high school being made fun of becuase they are diffrent. And this movie explains to young chlildren that its not alright to be that way! its not alright to make fun of someone becuase they are diffrent. I love the fact that this move has funny moments as well.
