I'm very impressed and pleased with this Snapper 190 cc 21" 3-in-1 Deck Rear Bag Mower. It's solidly constructed and well-engineered, much more so than comparable Craftsman models I examined at the store. Assembly out of the box is just a matter of tightening the locking screws on the handlebars, adding oil to the crankcase, filling the tank with gas, and pulling the starting cord. It has many convenience features like a single adjustable deck height lever, a powerful, self-priming Briggs & Stratton engine with auto choke and throttle controls, and a variable speed, rear-wheel drive transmission, that's especially handy on hilly terrain. It can also be configured to mulch, bag, or side discharge grass clippings within seconds. I also like the adjustable handle bars, which are clad in molded plastic to further reduce vibration, harshness, and minimize operator discomfort and blistering like standard, painted metal bars can create. Gripes? Well, I think rubber molding on the handgrips would have been a better choice than plastic and since there is no oil drain plug on the bottom of the engine, you have to first drain any remaining fuel from the tank, then remove the oil fill cap on top to change the oil. All in all, this product offers an exceptional blend of power, performance, convenience and value. Although this is my first Snapper mower, I look forward to years of reliable service from this one.
