So far, so good! Snapper ROCKS!

Have owned this item about one month, using it twice. So far, so good. Easy to start right out of the box; arrived with a bottle of oil and a "Sta-bil dripper cap". (the cap is a device that slowly releases the compound Sta-bil into the gas tank, allowing storage of the mower over a few months' time without having to drain the tank.) A nice and appreciated amendment. This mower does move FAST... I (woman) can hardly keep up with it, but husband does better. The only thing I really don't care for is the lack of throttle control. Will have to mess around with the mower in the near future to tweak this a bit; the engine throttle seems to be on the high side, and I think this might tax the engine eventually, as well as burn through gasoline. A lower throttle setting should also check the propulsion speed. All in all, I think a great purchase. This Snapper replaced a 13-year-old Craftsman model that still had a season or two left in it, but was becoming challenging to find parts for. The old Craftsman was recycled to an acquaintance who needed a mower, so all's good! Don't think you'll be sorry if you buy this Snapper!
