This is the 1st non commercial mower I've owned that can actually mow at a pace that like. For the money it is a bargain. The cut is good and it has started 1st pull for two month of use. Even my teen son wants to use it when I ask him to mow. I've got a couple larger walk behind's and a rider, but he likes the 21" Snapper. As for it being locked up when you pull it back. I've found that if you release the drive lever just before it comes to a stop, it will easily roll back.
