Sony 2-Speaker Home Theater System with Soundbar, 250W —

I love this speaker! It sits perfectly in front of my new Sony 40" LCD TV. The woofer is bigger than I expected - I see it as the equivalent of a tall PC tower. But it sits nicely on the floor next to my entertainment center and has a nice display to let me know what mode I am in. Is the sound AMAZING? Well, no - after all, it is only 2.1. HOWEVER, the system is absolutely perfect for those of us who don't want speakers sitting on every solid surface and just want a nice boost over plain TV speakers. The sound is clear and the woofer provides a nice bass to both TV and movies. A definite step up from the computer speakers I had. If you want a fancy surround system, then spend the money to have a speaker in every corner of your room in order to simulate a jet landing for your neighbors. If you want something simple and space-saving that looks great and sounds wonderful, BUY IT!!!!
