I've been researching LCD TVs for over a year now. The two main things that drew me to this model are the SteadySound (volume leveling) and built in video upconversion features. The SteadySound could be a bit more aggressive in limiting the dynamic range of the volume, but I'm being picky there, and nobody else has the feature at all, nearly as I can tell. It's really nice not to have car dealer ads blare at me when it goes to commercial (do they *really* think that makes us *more* likely to buy from them?). This purchase is our first HDTV. We are extremely pleased with the ease of operation, the brightness/color/picture and the price. We caught it on sale during the holidays, and while we could have chosen a cheaper brand, Sony produces quality products and this TV is one of them.

I bought this tv on sale. I heard from a friend that Sony lasts longer than most brands. I was really impressed with the fact that Sony went to the extent of making an energy efficient TV. I am all for saving money on electric bills. The Tv has a great picture. nice and clear. The sound is ok. I bought a small home theatre sound system which helps with that. It was very easy to set up. So far so good. Durability is really important to me. Only time will tell. The other really impressive thing about this TV is that even in a very bright sunroom I can see the picture perfectly. Best price on this Sony TV. I was able to order on line and pick it up the next day. I am very pleased with both the Sony TV and Sears.

Such an amazing LCD. No Noticeable lag at all from the PS3, Wii, or any of the older systems. I recommend it fully.

what can i say, Phenomenal. this sony lcd is just amazing. the clearest image i have ever seen. very easy to install and also a lightweight for hanging it up.  bbeesstt  tv i have ever owened.

This is awesome TV, I bought this during the ThanksGiving Weekend and it really is amazing display TV. Would definitely recommend if you can get it for 1K or so, however I wouldnt think you should buy it for more than 1300 or so. Sony has other good models like Z series that you can probably get for around 1500. So wait and grab the moment!

our first sony so far so good.sound quality could be better we find this with a lot of tv turn it up to max the speaker do good but you need not have to leave the room theater sound would be great with this set.got a good deal on this set is why we got it.hit the sales at the right time .had for 1 month wait for the sale price if you can
