I actually found this camera when I was out walking my dog. It has been 3 months since than I am really like the way photos come out. Battery last long and it recharges pretty quickly. The only thing about Sony products it usage of their own memory stick, which makes you buy additional card readers.
I've always used sony cameras and loved them...I got this one for myself for christmas and after a couple of days I've gotten through all the features and settings and love it. It has a great "burst" feature where you hold the shutter button down and it takes multiple pictures...like the "action" feature and bigger camera...LOVE IT
Has all the features I was looking for except AA batteries. However, the battery lasted through days of every kind of testing and picture taking I could do before I had to recharge.(hundreds of pictures and movies set at 5 megapics). My 5 yr old grandaughter took lots of great pictures and viewed them herself.
You can set the camera for easy picture taking or complete control and everything in between.
Low light photos without or without flash, movies, still shots of every kind were all great.
You can edit and crop pictures inside the camera, keep a copy of both the original and edited picture,...

I just got this camera yesterday for Christmas. Immediately all of the presents I got for Christmas went to the side (almost forgotten) And the pictures started flying.
I tested it out in the car to see how steady the shot truely was. Based on human reaction to click the shot (sometimes we are not fast enough) I was able to get clear pictures everytime moving at 45 miles per hr out the car window!
Still pictures where professional quality, best I have ever seen.
This camera gets 2 thumbs up from me. I would consider it a most buy as a present or even for yourself!!!
Combined with all the features, the 1080i HD pictures, and the Carl Zeise lense, this is by far THE best camera I have ever owned. If your looking for the best digital still camera under $300 this right here is your choice.
