Sony - BRAVIA KDL52V5100 52-inch Class Television 1080p LCD HDTV — 

After researching today's market of flat panel TVs for a couple of weeks prior to purchasing, I ended up going with Sony. For the past few years since buying my last flat panel, Sony seems to maintain being one of the top 3 sellers. I looked at & read reviews on LG, Sharp, Samsung as well as some others, but Sony always seems to come up on top. BTW, I found that you actually have to read the reviews and not just scan the ratings. Unfortunately it seems that "a lot" of people give negative points based on sound quality. WHAT DOES ANYBODY EXPECT A THIN FLAT PANEL TO SOUND LIKE? Of course it's not going to sound like a 1000 watt Home Theater System! For as thin as they are and as small as the speakers are, I'm surprised that it sounds as good as it does. I couldn't be more please with the unit, it's fantastic! I couldn't be more happy buying from Sears as well. I purchased it on line and Sears sent a text message within 15 minutes advising that it was ready for pick-up. I drove to Sears, the help loaded it in my truck, I strapped it down and was on the road within 15 minutes. The purchase could not have been made easier, Sears customer service was perfect! I've bought a lot of items from ******** in the past ... and I've had a lot of problems & issues as well. This purchase from Sears really was a pleasure. I intend to start looking at Sears first, for other future purchases.
