These headphones are definitely a great buy. My husband picked them up for use with his ipod because he was having issues finding headphones with good sound and especially good bass. These headphones definitely exceeded our expectations for being under $30. Not only do they have great sound, volume, etc... but they are GREAT at noise-cancelling. I know that they are advertised to be so, but we have tried some before which did not really do the job well to be honest.
