The PS3 is awesome! I have never been big on gaming, but I'm definitely getting there. This is a perfect all-in-one piece, you really don't anything else alongside the PS3 as long as you have the TV. It plays DVDs, blu-rays, you can stream movies from your laptop, you can copy movies onto the PS3 itself if you don't want to keep your laptop on. It plays music, you can view your photos you can do everything with this. So it's not just for hardcore gamers. I only got an extra controller and the remote and I really don't feel like I need anything else. Technically you don't even need the remote but I just thought it was easier when you're playing movies and going through the menus. There's more than enough storage on the PS3 (80 GB) to copy all your fave movies and shows and anything else you want on it. I recommend this to anyone and everyone! It's pricier than other gaming consoles, but totally worth every penny.Sony PLAYSTATION3 80GB Console
