The PS3 may be more new and popular, but the PS2 is still a great system. It has excellent graphics, cool games, and ease of play. Ps2 games are still being made for the time being as well. Priced better now as well due to the PS3 popularity.

The PS2 has a library of 1,800 games as opposed to the original XBox's library of 500 games. Also there are still new games being made for the PS2 today.
Its quality has remained consistently good, its longevity is an amazing feat in the world of video games.
The selection of peripherals from fake instruments, to dance mats to the eye toy, is quite diverse.
Since many older PS1 and PS2 titles can be bought at bargain prices and played on this console, it's a great value.

best game i have gotten for my kids,keeps them busy and they love it,they can't wait to get from school to play with it.
This is the 1st game system I have ever owned. I have played on most systems others have owned. The graphics are great and games are cool!
