Resistance fall of man is an awesome game. The graphics are outstanding. The down side to this game was that their were little guns. If their were more guns and levels, the game would have been more fun. I would absolutely recommend this game to a friend.

I have beaten this game several times and continue to go back in between other games. The controls are tight and very responsive. Graphics are great, no chopping, skipping, or glitches. Story is great for a first person shooter and the game is lengthy enough for a one time through to be worth the cost for the price that it now is, about 10 to 15 hours depending on difficulty and how much you wonder around looking for secrets. It is also worth playing a second time through as there are more weapons that become available like the flame thrower and the reapers. A lot of people compare it to Halo on the XBox but Resistance, even though sci fi, has a more Call of Duty feel. A lot of the weapons are older style realistic weapons. Overall, one of the best games I've played for my PS3 and I would choose this over Halo any day of the week.

Great game,Sweet graphics and even to this day still find myself going back to it even with all the latest out.The online is great and alot of fun.Got a deep story to it will keep you tuned in til the very end.If you dont own a PS3 and don't have this game I highly recommend picking this one up.

When I bought my PS3 back in 2006, this was the first game I had played since selling my 1st generation Playstation nearly 15 years ago, to focus on my studies. Boy was it addictive then and still holds my interest 3 years later. Many a weekend night was spent in front of the TV that first month I played it. More than any other game I've played or even heard of, I'd love to see Hollywood turn this game into a movie. The WWII setting, provided the perfect ambience for the storyline and the graphics look great even on a 100 inch screen. I've played through the storymode 7 times now, I've achieved the highest rank in online play, and I wouldn't change a thing, other than make a better sequel than Resistance 2 delivered.

The game did a very good job of keeping me entertained. The story line is complete and with good detail. What more can you ask for then a world full of aliens you have to destroy and plenty of weapons to help!...

This game is awsome all the way around the single player story is well told and intriging. the multiplayer tho i have never played a multiplayer like that 40 players with no lag no interuptions and the maps and weapons are awsome. If you got a ps3 get this game if your thinking about it get a ps3 so you can play this game....

i love this game it is really hard but once you get the hang of it you wont be able to put down the remote i recommend it to anyone that wants a great ps3 shooter...

I bought my PS3 the first second I found one available which was around late January, and with a limited game selection I purchased Resistance. Completely unknowingly, I was thrown into an alternate history where humans were fighting to survive against a horde of beings they have yet to identify, known as the Chimera. I quickly found myself immersed in single player campaign mode, and later taking on other resistance players from all around the world in online multiplayer matches of up to 40 people... it feels like a fluid continuation of the story watching a team of 20 chimera running at you and your team of humans... the fight to win back the earth was and still is on!!! I agree with the other reviewer here.. last I heard(whether its rumor or not I dont know) Resistance: RISE of man is going to be the sequel and insomniac games is currently in early production stages. PLEASE PLEASE PLAY THIS GAME!!!...

If you like shooting games with great graphics, this got to be it. Besides that I loved the story line, so much that I called the makers, and asked when will they be releasing the sequel. Not that I do that with every game, but only the ones that I love. Please take my word for it, I have played Socom, Medal of Honor, Rainbow Six, F.E.A.R. and I give Resistance a 10 for overall design + internet experience. The others stay in 6-9....
