I know I'm late on the Sony PS3 wagon but I didn't miss much. But now there's Uncharted 2, God of War III, Heavy Rain, and more that's coming out. I can't wait. And I'm finally excited about the PS3. The pricing was right and Blu-Ray is definitely a plus. I have not complains and am currently enjoying the God of War collection. I love the smaller form factor, the small plug (Why my 360 is gigantic is another issue.) Nothing bad to say which is why I finally bought one.
This product is great for the price!
The PS3 Slim is by far the best gaming system to ever come out. All the features of the phat but only half the size. It runs cool and quiet and looks great next to my 40" Samsung. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a complete gaming/entertainment system. Very nice to have the PS2 backwards compatibility as well.
The Sony PS3 is a great game console. The graphics on high def are outstanding for gaming and blu-ray movies. I have owned various consoles since the very old Ataris (yes, I still have one) and this is the best I have owned by far. The connectivity to the internet is a great bonus and the free network gaming is a nice feature. The up-coming 3D firmware upgrade to allow it to play movies in 3D just makes it an even better buy.
The only problem I have come across so far is lack of time to play with it more.
I highly recommend this gaming console.
Well this new PS3 has all the same features as the previous one but of course theres always a difference. The major difference is the price drop on this console. Plus its ultra thin and lighter than the one previous released. This new product has all the love of blu-ray and all the love of gaming built right into it. For 299.99 it will have you saying yikes. Now that really is K-Mart smart.
PS3 is great and if you can find one of the older - more expensive ones - it is backward compatible - it will play ALL PS games as well as Blu-Ray and DVD movies .. The newer ones will only do Blu-Ray and PS3 games
Awesome machine, I am on my second machine though. If you are opting out of buying any type of warranty I would think twice. I bought a 2nd generation ps3 and after about 18 months the bluray drive was dead. I was out of ps warranty and they charge $150 to fix it. Kmart covers 2 years. KEEP YOUR RECIEPT AND BOX!
Its the best game system i ever played. it has everthing blu ray 1080 mega pixel hdd it plays dvds cds and even goes on the intenet and have net flex. it is much lighter than the old one skinner. now it has a new lower price than before $299.99
as of right now the sony playstation 3 slim console is not backwards compatable and cannot play sony playstion 2 games.but ive heared rumors of a future firmware update that might make this possible.but so far the rumor hasnt been confirmed by sony.
