“SONY S-01 Boombox”

Sorry no remote. But no big deal. Digital Tuner, cassette, CD. I've seen other mixed reviews. Had mine for 3yrs with total reliability. No media input. I use FM Transmitter for that! “Nice boombox for the money”

At 50 bucks, this unit can do quite a bit! Play CDs (no MP3 playback capability, however), play your collection of old-school analog cassette tapes (my main reason for owning it!) and listen to your favorite radio programs on the digital tuning radio. My only caveat would be in regards to recording from the radio. Because the audio output of the radio is lower than on most portable units, the recordings will come out with a low recording level (the record level for tape is non-adjustable) and results in having to raise the volume of any device playing the tape recorded from the radio with this... read full review »

“So-So Sony”

Good sound for a unit at this price. BUT: 1) Casette does not automatically play second side. 2) If you want it for radio use and can not deal with pre-set stations be aware that the "dialing" across the FM\AM bands is tedious at best. After two days with this unit I returned it.

“Sony Portable CD Player Grey has a great sound for the price.”

Many Sony products are great but this CD and Cassette player is very affordable and versatile as well. The features are easy to use and the sound quality is better than most players this size.
