My oldest son got this for Christmas last year and my middle son wants it for Christmas this year...It is an excellent electronic for boys or girls and it does soooo much....Not like the other hand held video games it has so much more and keeps them entertained and not wanting to get a different one cuz they're bored or have out played it....They love it because they can also watch movies, wii fy, and can also download off of the computer. The PSP is a pretty cool game system. I would not recommend for younger children though. The PSP doesn't seem to have as many games for the younger chidren. I like the fact that you can play music on it as well as store photo's. Totaly cool. It sort of doubles as an MP3 player as well as a game system. I would strongly advise getting a cover for it to protect the system in case of any sort of fall. The only thing I have found that I don't like about it is I don't see as many games for it as I would like. The didn't seem to make as many of the PS2 titles for the PSP. "I think the psp is soo awesome it is one of the best systems in the world,the thing i like most about the psp is you can put music and photos on just like a mp3 player.It also has some really good games.Ohh yah before i forget another thing why i love the psp is because you can go on the internet with.That is soooo cool."

My son is going to love this . I bought it for a christmas present and I have been using it. I just wanted to make sure it worked at first. I bought some used games and movies off a guy at my job and I have been using his psp ever since. Now, I'm hoping once he gets it for christmas that he will share with me.

Great PSP. The best thing is that not only does it play games, but it holds your music and movies. Better than an IPod & doesn't cost as much. Only beneficial if you have a memory card, and a converter for your movies and music. Otherwise, check into this before getting an IPod.

excellent product for those who don't want to be stuck sitting in front of the tv to play games! excellent selection of games & movies and superb picture quality on system screen. highly recommended for kids & adults alike- fun for everyone! this product won't let you down!

My son had one and loved it. It kept him out of trouble on bus and at lunch time. He has ADHD and it was wonderful for him until someone stole it out of his coat pocket in class. But I really would recommend it for your kids. It is great.

I would highly recommend this item to anyone who has children. My neice has a PSP and she really enjoy bringing it along with her when she travels. All the children take turns playing with the system. It's GREAT!

The picture on this thing is incredible. The games for it are sold at a reasonable price. It is kid friendly as long as they don't drop it, it is a suitable gift for young children. My 6 year old loves it.
