“Great Turntable”

Sony - Stereo Turntable System — 

I received my Sony turntable very quickly after ordering it. It was delivered to my home through UPS. Assembly and connection (very minimal) took about ten minutes. I don't have a "Phono" input so I turned the pre-amp on, plugged it into my "Auxillary" input, and threaded the belt drive (so easy a caveman can do it), put the platter on, then the rubber top of the platter, plugged it in and it was ready to go. There was NO buzz, hiss, or popping noises that I have seen reported with other brands. The records sound clean and much fuller than their CD counterparts. The controls are in the front of the unit and easy to use. There's nothing complicated about using this piece of equipment. This is a great product, not only because it's inexpensive, but also because Sony is known for making top notch stereo equipment--and this turntable is top notch.
