Dollar for value these are among the best pair of wireless headphone you'll come across. I bought these for my brother at Christmas and he could not be happier. After trying a similarly priced set from brookstone a year prior, which lasted all of about a month, I decided he needed a step up. He uses... read full review »

No good on treadmill

Absolutely worthless for watching TV while on a treadmill. The treadmill causes static interference that completely overwhelms the sound. This is not an unusual effect with a number of wireless headphones, and I'm having a terrible time trying to replace my old Optimus wireless set up that is no longer... read full review »

I bought 2 wireless headphones at Sears at a great price. My wife and I are very happy with the sound quality.

The volume adjust is on the right headphone and is easy to use.

The fit of these headphones over our ears is very comfortable. The design is sleek, as it compliments our TV style.

You can use one transmitter for 2 or more headphones, which is convenient if you have only one audio output on your tv.

The quality of these headphones are apparent as soon as you handle it.

I would highly recommend it.

the sony headphones work great I had a different brand that had bad reception and hurt ears after wearing for any time period.  These have grat reception and are comfortable  they were more expensive but worth the extra money.

Not Durable

I purchased my set elsewhere for much MORE $.  Had since Christmas 2008, only one side works now, I say not durable, & that refers to someone NOT tossing them around, etc.  (Wouldn't purchase for "self" again).

Supposed to be Sony quality

These worked great on my laptop and saved on batteries, these are rechargeable, range needs to be line of site. worked great with itunes off laptop. These have a power adapter, so they are not portable. I bought two  but one has started to have problems intermitently. I know Sony used make quality items but I got these on sale at Sears so I  have used them for over 1 year. This review was updated because one headphone started giving me trouble.

I like this item a lot, I live with roommates and I don't have to worry about keeping them up all night on those nights that I watch tv till 4 or 5 in the morning. The only thing I would say is the next one you come out with it, give it some more range like a cordless phone or something:). It keeps its charge very well, so you don't have to worry about it cutting out on you during whatever movie or program you happen to be watching. I have never had it go out on me. Definitley worth the price of admission. I am sure my roomies would agree:)

Pretty good

There is some static when using this headset. However, to reduce it to a minimum, turn up the volume on the TV or stereo to almost maximum, and then turn down as low as you can, the volume control wheel built into the right earphone. That all but got rid of the pesky hissing noise. This headset might not be perfect for listening to very soft music like some sections of classical music. For most other purposes, it works fine. It does have great battery life. I use them to listen to the radio at work and only charge them over the weekend after using them for about 6 to 8 hours a day. Finally,... read full review »

Great!

All that I expected and more. Sound is very good, comfortable; connectors were provided. I thought that 45 degree coverage might be restrictive, but I find that I can go anywhere in a room as long as I have line of sight. I find it a little awkward finding and adjusting the volume, but no biggie.

Love them

My father is hard of hearing and the entertainment system was a major source of discord between my father and anyone else in the house because he had to have the main volume turned up. My father loves the set and they work very well. The only thing buyers need to be aware of is that the head set volume is not completely independent of the source volume. You cannot mute the source and turn up only the head set. Not much of a problem for me, because having the television at a moderate volume keeps the conversation level possible and then Dad can crank up his head set. Also, great bargain, price is... read full review »

Great purchase!

These were a Mother's Day gift to myself--for my husband to wear while watching TV at night in bed. They were a great purchase because of price and quality. I can now drift off to sleep while he watches TV, I can't even hear the TV (like second-hand smoke) through the headphones, AND my husband now hears details in TV programs previously missed! Even without the sale price these are a good deal, like items are usually $100+.

To much static

There is nothing wrong with the headphones it is the technology they use. Infarred requires line of sight and anything that is in the way causes static. I have found they have static just because I move to fast. Nice package but I am going to look into something other than infarred. But is it worth the cost? I got these for $30 but other stuff goes for more than twice as much...

5 stars

Purchased for my 85 year old father. I can now hear myself think while he sleeps away to the TV all day long. I am thinking about buying another set for my husband.
