South Shore Squared Computer Desk - Royal Cherry —

My family purchased this desk because we wanted something bigger than our old desk, with a nice keyboard tray and lots of room for all of our electronics. The desk turned out to be much larger and heavier than we realized. The pieces themselves are very heavy, and the instructions are not very good. It's hard to figure out how to put things together, at least initially. The hardware is scattered and easily lost. There's so many different pieces and they're not marked all that well. I asked a friend to help out (we're both 18 and very capable laborers) so my parents could do other things, and it took the two of us 4 tiring hours to get it together. Aside from those struggles, the overall product is great. There's lots of shelf space on the hutch and an elevated platform is attached to the main one, which gives you an extra open shelf. It's very sturdy and the finish is gorgeous. I couldn't be happier with the outcome, and it was completely worth the hard work as well as the steep price (i.e. the shipping price). I'd recommend the desk for anyone with the space for it.
